winsock2 problems

    Being the pc muppet that i am, i somehow managed to delete the winsock2 files from my comp, and now it is preventing all web access.

    i did not create a restore point or make backups prior to the mistake. :rolleyes:

    os is XP btw.

    any ideas how to get me up and running again?
