Apologies if this seems like a repeat thread but having searched the net for answers i have not managed to get rid of this problem no matter what i do.

Whenever i use IE it redirects me to a msn search page (sometimes others if im lucky) whenever i try to go to a link.
Also keep getting an annoying pop up sayin i have got a virus and need winvirus pro to remove it, know that this is obviously a trojan of some sort but just can't find it.

Have run Symantec Norton Anti Virus and this finds nothing so have now tried no adware and this finds 5 files which it deletes but as soon as i reconnect they come back.
The files are atdmt, atwola, doubleclick, mediaplex, server.iad.liveperson, www.stopzilla.

Also seems to find some program called bearshare which i have no idea as to what this is???

Have looked through your threads and am slightly unsure as to what im supposed to do with hijack this so am after some much needed help.

Have posted hijack log for you to check.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as am despairing now with what to do and getting fed up with the annoying pop ups and machine giving me grief.

Any help on this would be much appreciated

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Please read & follow the sticky thread guidelines and do not post any logs inline with messages.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis
Let's get an installed programs list from HijackThis too!

    • Run HijackThis, click Open the Misc Tools section
    • Click Open Uninstall Manager
    • Click Save List (generates uninstall_list.txt)
    • Click Save, to save it to a file where you can find it.
    • Attach the uninstall_list.txt file to your next message.
