Every so often my computer crashes for no apparent reason. The blue error screen comes up and displays:

A wait operation, attach process, or yield was attempted from a DPC routine

    *** STOP: 0x000000B8 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I am running WinXP Pro w/Service Pack 3 via bootcamp on a 2008 Macbook Pro. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

DomLuc, thank you so much for your help. I suspected it might be a video card issue but am now unsure how I might go about solving it.

From my understanding Nvidia does not create laptop drivers nor support them. Currently I am using the default drivers that came with my bootcamp CD which seem to function fine for most users. To further complicate the matter, my Macbook Pro includes the Nvidia GT8600m video card which many have said has a very high failure rate due to some design/manufacturing issue with Nvidia. As a result, I'm beginning to worry that maybe the problem might be worse then I anticipated.

Recently I came across this website:

Assuming it is a driver issue (which I hope it is), I'm hoping that a driver upgrade might do the trick but don't have a clue which one would work for me. Thanks again for your help, any additional insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
