Wipe Free Space

    Are there any good, free "Wipe Free Space" programs available out there? Now that I have deleted all things Norton off my laptop, I don't have that anymore.

    Thanks for any tips!

    Thanks for the replies you guys.

    I am looking for something that totally obliterates any data in the free space area of the hard drive so that it is utterly, hopelessly unrecoverable even by the most sophisticated tools/experts in the entire world.

    There is also a program called DiskRedactor that goes over just the free space and leaves your files and programs intact.
