wiped c drive free space and now it says there is no free space

i deleted my temp files still says no free space in c drive is this common w ccleaner anything else i should try?

 

When you right click the C: drive how big it the drive and how much free space does it show?

So if you have 87GB free, then you should not have a problem with no freespace.

 

The HDD should Tell you on the left side in xp or underneath the Hd in 7

Total Size witch is the size of your HD
And Free Space witch is how much is free.And not being used.

Do you know how big your HD really is.

87MB is definitely not enough space.
Can you post a screenshot of your root directory of C:\? Do you have any files or folders that look like those shown in the image? They would be alphanumeric and long. Also, did you reboot after the wiping of space?

i am not sure how to take a screen shot but it seems like i seen something like that i also had a 1 tb external hard drive that i had baked up my wifes hp drive onto it had some preloaded soft ware onit and i am hoping it didnt just dump her back up onto my my hard drive i wanted to back up my hard drive onto the external but i am not confident it wont just go into the same file as the hp

 

Double click the C drive. Then press Alt+PrintScreen. Open the program Paint and select Edit>Paste.

You can check that system restore is not using too much of your hard drive. It should only be about 3-5%. Download and run either SpaceSniffer or JDiskreport to see where your hard drive space is being used.
