NAS device on the network via the router can be accessed from a wired PC connection using a browser and the IP address through the router, but not from a wireless connection to the router. The network otherwise functions properly with the wireless laptop having network printing access, internet access, and PC shared drives access. Obviously I am missing something here. The router is a Belkin F5D8231-4 N1 Wireless Router. I am at a loss to understand what the problem is given the normal functioning of the wireless connection otherwise and normal wired access to the NAS device. Any help would be much appreciated. After years of dodging backup, and suffering the consequences repeatedly, I purchased the tools, but can't get the stuff configured to work. Thanks in advance.
