Wireless Broadband Website Lists

I am trying to find a site on the internet that lists websites that are "dummied" down so that they load in a reasonable amount of time on devices such as the Q.

I know there used to be sites for our hand held devices such as msnbc.com/wireless or some such thing. The exact name(or format) escapes me at the present time but I have to assume others out there are more familiar than I am.

Trying to load standard websites as you may know takes forever, really at the end of the day I am just looking for sports and news sites but I am having a rough go of finding them.

What you are looking for most likely are the "mobile" or text version of the webpages. Most sites will notice that you are using a browser that is not on a mobile phone and route to the standard page.
