Wireless Card On Causes Windows XP to Bluescreen...

About a week ago, I tried turning on my computer in a room I'd been staying at for 2 weeks, but it bluescreened during boot-up, irql_not_less_or_equal, and made me turn it off. After turning off my wireless card, I was able to boot up my laptop.

Right now I'm in the lobby of the building I'm staying in, and I am able to turn on wireless just fine, but the second I go near my room on the 4th floor, my laptop bluescreens again.

I assume there is some signal that just started (caused by another person moving in and setting up a router?) that is causing my wireless card to freak out and make windows crash. Has anybody heard of anything like this before? Any ideas on how I might be able to connect to the internet in my room?
