Wireless Charging

My Sister has an Older Galaxy SamSung S7 SmartPhone.

She wants to try Wireless Charging but She does not want to get a new Phone.

Now I See a lot of Videos on YouTube that say you can Buy a Wireless Adapter.

This Adapter will Plug into the SmartPhone and this will Pick Up the Wireless Voltage being Transmited.

And I get all of this.

But every Wireless Charger I come across has no Adapter because they are made for SmartPhones that have the Induction Chip in them.

So how do I Buy the Adapter that Plugs into Her Phone that will Pick Up the Voltage being Transmited?

If the phone does not support wireless charging, you can't charge wirelessly. No way around it.

 

I guess what confuses me is all this is really doing is turning a wireless charger into a wired charger - defeating the purpose in my mind.

To answer your question, the adapter you buy would have to have the same connector as your sister's phone uses now. The adapter would sit on the wireless charger and pick up the charge from it, then send that charging voltage through its little cable to the phone.

Match one with similar specs on @Eldon's link to save some money, Samsung seems kind of high.
