wireless connetion problem

    i have a d-link g108 with a standered Ieee802.11g pci card,desk top not lap.

    Im getting full signal from my network but it is refuseing to connect.

    this is the first time i have ever used a wireless connection. the cd that came with the card had a good tool for changeing channle and other thing's but courrpted and now i cant get the window's networking to connect.

    is there any tool i can download or any idea's on what im have mixed up

    i can get signal a few feet away with full signal but not where it is now with full signal

    You can try this.
    Go into Add/Remove and take out the connection software you loaded originally.
    Go into Device Manager and uninstall the wireless card.
    Reboot and see if the drivers are reloaded for the card.
    If not, reload drivers only from the CD and try to connect with the Windows service.
    You can use only one connection service at a time so this should clear up the conflicts.
