Wireless for Laptop without a Contract

I’m looking for wireless internet service my laptop for when I go on vacation, not all year round. I was told that T-Mobile used to offer a service you could turn on and off without signing a contract. Apparently, they don’t offer that anymore. I can’t afford to pay for two services all year round, one at home for the family and one for my laptop when I travel. Does anyone know of anyone offering temporary service?

You might want to check at the hotels you are going to stay at. Most have free internet now. Just make sure you get a firewall or something to secure your PC!

I have heard of the temporary interweb thing, but cannot remember anything about it.
