Ok, I have a wireless network setup in my home. There is my computer, directly connected to the modem with a cat5 cable. Then there are two other computers(one is a WinME and the other a WinXP), each using a pci wireless card to connect to the network wirelessly(my modem and router are an all-in-one thing). All three computers connect just fine to the internet, but my computer cannot see the other two. They see each other fine, and files can be transferred between them, but my computer cannot see them, and viceversa. How can this be, since the internet works fine on them all?

Are they all configured the same for firewall and router access? I do this everyonce in awhile. I will add a computer quickly some night and it won't play nice and then I remember to set access on the machines I want to talk to each other.

Are you using a Firewall on all or any of them?

If yes, have you set each to trusted on each firewall? You have to give them permssion to talk to each other. You will not be able to share files until you do this. (I don't know how much of this you may already know)

Can you please give us the IP addresses and subnet masks of all 3 computers, and specify which is wired and which are wireless? Start > Run, type cmd for xp/2000 or command for ME/98 and hit enter. then type ipconfig and hit enter.

PS it is necessary to reboot the IPs on all 3 boxes every time after you reboot the router. it's

    ipconfig /release
    and then
    ipconfig /renew

in that same command prompt window. Doesn't matter what order you do the computers in, just after the modem/router/computers in that order, each fully up before the other starts because they depend on each other.
