Wireless Internet...................

My grandson has moved into an apartment that has wireless internet avail. He has a sufficient PC system but will will need a NIC. What else will he need to purch and/or do, to be able to utilize this service.

Will need to find out what type of wireless b a or g, then purchase a similar nic, usb wireless nics are probably the simplest desktop or laptop, but would recommend a actuall pci wireless nic if its a desktop, usually they get better range. Laptops would recommend the usually pcima cards.
