    Hello all,

I have a HP Pavillion dv6000. Most likely than not the wireless part of it will not work. I can plug in a usb adapter and get wireless but the built in wireless wont work, than poof it will work for a little while than go out. Any ideas from the gang?

    Greetings, Acirra.

Need to know what operating system and service pack # you're running, and what type of ethernet adapter is in the machine - you can most likely find that in your Device Manager. While you're there, are there any flags?

Possibility it's not a driver problem, however, since it works and then 'poofs', but we need to make sure.

Are you sure the status of your built in adapter? Is it disabled ? or the driver properly installed ?

First check the status of your built in adapter in device manager.

    2. Make sure your built in wireless utility is not conflicting with WZC
