wireless network and fire alarm

i have some questions.
normally i only have a dial up connection to the internet. i have Zone Alarm free version and in the Alerts and Logs it will show the alerts and there could be new ones every couple minutes.
ive just recently been able to use my laptop and get online through a wireless network somewhere else other than at home. the one night i did so for a few hours i never noticed any alerts at all. is there a setting on my Zone Alarm i have to change? or is that normal that there are no alerts?

i also have a question about wireless network if i can ask it here aswell.
ive never used a wireless network before and was wondering.. does it keep track of what im doing online? as in if im at a job and i am allowed to connect through the wireless network, can they then be able to find out the sites or anything ive done while online through the router or something similar?

 

Wireless Internet connection is usually provided through a Wireless Cable/DSL Router. The Router by default provides a Firewall, so there is less work to ZA.

Wireless or Wire does not matter there is always somewhere a record of the traffic. I.e. at work the work’s Router has logs that would maintain where you go.

 

in this case, lets say im on my laptop with the wireless internet through the router, and say im on a celebrity picture/movie site and that site has a rapidshire link with a movie clip.. by going to the celebrity site and then the rapidshare link, would someone else be able to check through the router to see that ive been to those specific sites? so someone else could then go to those specific sites themselves to see what they are?
