I have a question...I am currently running a wireless network at home and would like to add a third computer. The signal is very low on this computer because it is travelling through not just one, but two concrete walls. Can I use an ethernet cable and just connect the two computers or will I have to create a wired network? If I create the wired network, will it interfere with the wireless?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

What type of antenna are you talking about? How would it connect to the computer?

You can use wires and wireless in conjnction with a wireless router. I have the Linksys WRT54G and it has 4 ethernet connection points as well as wireless. The ethernet cable would give you a direct connection and would always be at 100mb/s whereas with wireless the max you can go to is 54mb, or 108mb if you have paid out that much.
So in answer to your original question, yes you can use wires with wireless.
And in answer to your next you can buy extendable antenna, not sure if you live in UK or not but you're after something like this - http://www.rlsupplies.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=1581

It will extend your antenna by 3M, I use a 1.5M one and it just gives a better signal strength when it's up on my desk.

I'm in the US, but thank you - I will go to my local store and see what they have.
