I cant think of any logical reason why my wireless connection is doing this, but sometimes, and thats at any point in time, the wireless connection just... doesnt work.

What I mean by not working, is when I am not able to access the internet on port 80 (In order to surf the web). Not being able to surf the 'net is bad enough, but when you cant even IM (Instant message), things just become rediculously frustrating..

Ok. So you're probably asking yourself if Im telling you a typical "Go search and find the answer" question, but its not, because the internet is not FULLY disabled, as I can use other applications in a certain range of ports. I can use p2p applications (Such as Limewire), and Skype, which I barely use.. But it works..

What am I doing wrong? It happens occasionally, and right now Im typing this post on the computer that keeps being affected by that. Im using a Netgear WG121 USB wireless adapter, with a Netgear WG602 v2 wireless access point. Now whats ALSO strange, is that with the same adapter (i have two), I can go on the internet, on another computer, with both adaptors connected to the AP. I have tried a trial-and-error process where I switched both cards on each computer, but it made no difference, so I conclude it MUST be software related, not hardware...

Does anyone have a clue to as why My wireless connection is sometimes (Not Completely) faulty? And just as a side-note, I also tried upgrading the firmware on the Access point.. It makes no difference, after several weeks of trying it out, so I reverted back to the old firmware...

This is messed up, I know there's a solution, and if it means re-installing my Windows OS (XP), ill do it, but not until I have sufficient proof by some of you..

    Thanks for your time..

*bump* Noone? I would really not like to ask Netgear's Technical service about this, but seriously, noone knows? I mean, I disabled WEP, and theres no firewall or router setting on the configuration page of my AP... I just connected the uplink wire from my AP to my computer, and it works, so its obviously the AP thats malfunctioning~

    Nobody has any ideas? really?
