Wireless router internet connectivity issues

Recently bought a new wireless router and have everything set up correctly, but I'm unable to use the internet. My signal strength is excellent connecting to the router, but I'm not connecting to the internet. IP issue? My roommates Apple is working fine, but my Netbook is not.

My router has two SSID's and my roommate can access both of them. I can only access one of them and can still not use the internet.

I'm using Windows XP.

IP address looks OK unless there is an IP conflict with something else.

Have you tried a different browser?
Have you tried using a cable?
Have you tried disabling your firewall/security software if installed or Windows firewall?
All up to date on Windows?
Drivers on wireless adapter up to date?
Firmware on router latest version?
Try Safe Mode with Networking to see if same result. (F8 at boot)
Try a ping from the command line - for example "ping google.com" w/o quotes. See if you can get past the router.

You might try resetting the router back to default and set it up again as basic as possible, then adding your different details and trying the wireless connection at each step. May give you an indication of where the problem lies.
