jarcher I can't handle a title

I jusr recieved a hand me down wireless router

but I dont have whatever the yellow thing is on top
how would, or what do I need to do
to get it ready for XBox Live?

That yellow thing is a PC Card wireless adapter for a laptop. You don't need it for what you're trying to do. I believe what you need is called a wireless bridge. (3135 posts on a tech forum, and you don't recognize a PC Card wireless adapter? That's kind of scary. http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/smile.gif )

Wireless Adapter

This is what you'll need to connect the Xbox wirelessly.I use it and it performs well.
