    Hi,

our Medion computer has been formatted, since it "crashed" 2 weeks ago. And now the problem is that the wireless connection doesn't work.

I've installed the Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection driver, and all the wireless connection settings are correct. The wireless network connection which I set up doesn't work and so doesn't the Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless connection. It says Wireless is turned off. seleecct "WWireless On" below to enable wireless networking. but when I select Wireless On it says "The Intel(R) PRO/Wireless Network Connection is still disabled. Use your hardware switch to enable it. Now, I'm not sure what the hardware switch is, but I assume it is the quicklaunch wireless icon next to the keyboard. WHICH DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!

I don't think the problem is in the router as the laptop I'm on now is connected wireless.

The problem is that I can't use the hardware switch to enable it. (using the wireless quick launch button next to the keyboard

OMG, I rebooted (for the 20th time) and now it works. The only change I made between rebooting now and before was turning Wireless Zero Configuration on.

    héhé now it works :p:D
