    Hi guys!!

I was looking at wireless media streamers PC to TV and the good ones are quite pricey, I have a really good wireless router already and wondered can I use my existing wireless router to stream media to TV? and Just get some sort of receiver dongle thing to connect to the TV?

    I have an Edimax router

i don't think there's a simple way to add a wireless receiver for a tv. It has to have it built in. and most tv's now use a wired connection, because wifi just isn't fast enough to handle the demand for video, especially HD.

You can get a media streamer or hook up a pc to a tv. here are some options.

you can probably use your existing router, and Windows media player 11 and up can stream your media from your pc to one of the devices listed above, or a pc hooked up to the tv.
