I have Wisecare 365 on my PC. I got it as the free version several years ago when it was made available free to Major Geeks members. Obviously, as I've chosen to keep it free I've never been able to update it. I'd like to know whether it'd be OK to continue using it on Windows 10 or if I should upgrade to the paid for version or simply uninstall it.

I had a problem with Windows Start Button and I fixed it with the powershell fix given in post #1 of the thread to which you link. The Windows Start Button worked fine after that fix. Then one day I ran WiseCare. I can't be 100% certain it was Wise Care's fault that the problem resurfaced. I'd run WiseCare but a few other things too. Having done the powershell fix again the Windows Start Button is working. I've no intention of using WiseCare again unless I hear different. I probably don't need it what with having CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare.

Agreed. CCleaner Free is probably the most recommended/used program of it's kind.
