With Raid 0 my C drive gets fragmented very fast.

    I have 2 80gig sata hdds in Raid 0 as 1 160gig partition.
It only takes a day of normal use involving playing half life 2, downloading a song or 2 and browsing the web, to get very fragmented.

I need some suggestions to make it less fragmented.

I'm using a 32k stripe size which imo is a happy medium between small and large stripe sizes, providing fast data access.

I don't know why I get so much fragmentation though. :(

How fragmented are we talking about % wise?

What defrag app do you use?

I use Diskeeper Pro with the smart schedule enabled. The scheduler doesn't seem to be very effective though. :)

I will give you some figures when I am next about to defrag it, since I just defragged it.

It says in the report after I analyzed it..."average number of fragments per file is 1.07." It said there were 3780 fragmented files.
This is after I just defragged it an hour ago.
I installed a demo inbetween the defrag and analysis.

I can see so much red (fragmented files) in the drive map.
