wmidx.dll troubles and issues...

Whenever I try to load or open some programs, I get an error window that sais the file cannot be open because wmidx.dll is missing. Most of the time however, the program opens anyways right after...

However, right now I'm trying to register a new account on EQII, but the launcher fails to open. Here's a picture of the file that it's trying to "download", and if I click open it gives me the wmidx.dll error and nothing happens...

well, PCMightyMax didn't offer any solutions to fix the problem (I don't feel like paying for it). I downloaded wmidx.dll manually, but I don't know how to fully "install" it.

do you think this could solve my problem anyways?
