WMP 11 crashes after loading dvd

Hello, everyone. My WMP Ver. 11 crashes every time I tried to watch a DVD. It loads ok, and gets through the FBI warning, but crashes just before the actual movie starts to play. It does the same thing with commercial, and non-commercial dvds. It also does this on 2 other dvd players I downloaded for testing purposes. I don't get any error codes, and there is nothing about the crash listed in the "event viewer". All other media (mp3, mpeg, wmv, avi., etc.) plays fine. My OS is Windows XP Home Version SP3. Processor is a 2.4Ghz Celeron. 768MB of Ram. My WMP, and Windows itself is updated monthly, and has all recommended patches. If anyone can give me a clue as to how to fix the problem, I would really appreciate it.

p.s. My computer uses the Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics controller, and according to Dell (my computer manufacter), I have the most up to date driver installed.
