Hi Java

Dont download what is WMP12 as it doesnt exist unless you are running Windows 7 beta, so I wouldnt trust whatever site is offering this.

Which Windows version are we dealing with here Java? just as the fix maybe different.


What you could try is to browse the folders for WMP and here is general area it is found in C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player and double click wmplayer ..... if this works then create a shortcut to it to your desktop or start menu.

Could also run from CMD, System Checker in sfc /scannow (likely need Windows CD and if Vista you will need to run CMD in an elevated mode, to do this type cmd into the start search box and when it shows in the menu right click it and choose Run as Administrator then type in the command in bold)
