WMP11 Problem

The problem is, whenever I try to play my wmp11(XP) it says I need to validate my copy of windows. I already did this several times and it's still saying the same thing. Can someone help me out plz? Thanks!

 

It sounds like the WGA isn't working right... if running WinXP, try using the WGA removal tool (download from here http://www.majorgeeks.com/RemoveWGA_d5170.html). Or you can try this:
It seems you already have WMP11 installed. If so, uninstall it. If you still have the install .exe file, great. If not, download it from here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Windows_Media_Player_for_Windows_XP_d5090.html . Now you need to extract the contents of the .exe using either WinRAR, 7Zip, TUGZip, PowerArchiver, etc. Links will be listed below. After the extraction is finished, open the newly created WMP11 folder. Run the wmfdist11.exe file. Reboot the PC. Go back to the WMP folder, and run the wmp11.exe file. Again, reboot the PC. Enjoy using WMP11!

Thanks for the help so far. I did the wga removal tool and that didn't do anything.

Is there a way to remove wmp11 manually, cause I have another problem now? Whenever I click remove I just get the cancel button and not the ok button. It's the same when the validate windows window pops up. I just get the cancel button and not the ok button. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
