Woman arrested in Nigerian Internet Check Scheme

    This is what gets me about these stories,,

    They make it sound like there was good intentions involved, well, there wasn't. It was all pure greed.

    Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please, but isn't cashing a check for someone in this manner akin to money laundering?

    I believe if the Dept. of Justice started prosecuting these "victims" for partaking in attempted fraud (depositing the check), maybe that would deter the"honest citizens" from "falling" for this scheme.

    In Arizona, if you try to cross a wash out in your car and have to be rescued, they send you the bill. Maybe it's as simple as that, send the "victim" the legal bill
