LOL, saw/heard this earlier on CNN this morning. Don't worry, Darwinism will take care of these people, hopefully. It will take some time.

 

I read this story, and was telling my wife about it today. I think it's more a misunderstanding than anything else, easily spinnable from any angle, but at heart, the lady wanted to have some help getting money back for a purchase she made, and was not being given. I mean, you wouldn't expect to take your car into the shop to have the tires replaced, only to find out that after you paid, they only had 3 available, but don't worry they took care of getting rid of the 4 old ones for you.

I don't know how many times I've been out of my area, and called 911 from a cell phone, and my first words were, This isn't an emergency, but I need to speak to local police. I think the lady just went about things wrong.

I saw this story on Foxnews.com right next to a story about someone who bought a wallet at Walmart, and opened it to find 10 human teeth, one with a filling.. The 911 nugget caller got charged with making a false 911 call, the toothless bandit probably won't ever be found.

I still think it's a funny story though.

 

Just the fact that EVERYONE did it wrong --- that's what made this story funny.

 

I agree. It reminds me of a time I was on the boardwalk at some Atlantic Ocean beach and this lady gets a piece of pizza from one of the outdoor vendors. She paid the guy and he handed her the piece of pizza.

Before she could take a bite, a fly landed on it, and she stood there insisting that he give her another piece that hadn't been landed on.

The guy assured her that every piece of pizza he'd ever made had been danced all over by every fly in the area, and that her situation wasn't unique. He also noted that she ought go to an indoor place next time, but might still be surprised to find that those little buggers make it indoors too.. LOL

 

Then Mcdonalds will take over the world and no one will ever get their money back,its people like this who are on the frontline standing up for Americans civil rights:-D

I like to think I'd cause a fuss and hold up the line until I got my money back or jump over the counter,kick the cashier in the jaw and Rip the managers throat out then take the $4.95 from the register.

I'd prolly just order something else off the menu though.

 

I'd be sure and get my money back, it probably costs about a penny for every two nuggies they sell.. I walked into a 7/11 type store here not long ago and watched something ring up wrong and said something about it. The lady told me "It's only 20 cents." to which I said something like, yeah but it's my 20 cents, and I'd like it in dimes.. she gave it to me out of her pocket rather than doing a refund in the register.. I bought another one.. she didn't have two more dimes. LOL

 

i dont know guys, those mcnoogets are pretty good. if i was in the mood for a mcnooget, id be pretty pissed that i was only being offered mcdouble instead. i mean, come on. a mcnooget crave cannot be satisfied by mcbread, two pieces of mcbeef, and a slice of mccheese. it just cant... what is this world coming to if one asks for mcnooget and gets mcbeef instead?? let me tell you, i dont want to live in that world...:booger

I would have called the police too I thing only not 911.
I stopped at a McD's while driving a while back and it was pretty crowded and the staff was working at full speed. There was an older man putting together food and ran his hand through his hair then put his hat back on. I imagine he was sweating and nervous and I felt bad for outing him (kinda) but canceled my order and got a refund on the spot. So it's not their policy not to refund.

 

the fine was probably $100. and Mc Donalds gave her $4.95 coupon so she still looses.

She should hire me as her publicist I'd contact Wendy's and Burger King. They would pay that fine for her plus Wendy's would give her a Hot and Juicy and Burger King would give her a Triple Whopper with cheese.
Before you know it McDonalds would offer her a vacation as compensation for her spending a few hours in jail and all the nuggets she can eat..

Coke would get involved because they are the official drink of McDonalds and the cases of sodas would be coming to her home.
Pepsi wouldn't like that fact that coke got publicity and offer her free pepsi's for life.
Papa Johns would come in and offer her free pizza for a year (hey where did they come from)
Pizza Hut would admit they made the pasta. Just because Papa Johns offered pizza.

Jarrett would fly in with Subway sandwiches because they are healthier for you than the nuggets and pizza. Plus they wanted to beat Quizznos to the party.
