Have you ever worked for a company that has customers? I don't care HOW rude she may or may not have been on the phone, or what the customer service reps call her to each other, you DO NOT do something like that.

 

... umm, it was? So it wasn't because some silly reps got pissed off with a customer then? *sigh*

Well, thats an amusing incident Just hope there is nobody at my ISP like that: I'm sure I've annoyed some people there

Iam not saying that what the company did was right but she probably did somthing really annoying to have someone risk their job to do that. Thats why i said she might deserve it. I dont think the company employes would just do that for kicks unless they were stupid or had plans of leaving anyway.

 

Regardless, Comcast should have filters and checks in place to prevent someone from doing this easily. From what I hear the two people found to have been involved have been fired, but to me this is the sort of thing that should be prevented before the letter is ever in the mail.

And you'd be amazed at the things people would do and think they can get away with. This is a prime example. Maybe the employees figured that Comcast wouldn't care enough to do anything about it.
