wordpad issues

I can't get Wordpad to change text size, color, etc. I followed the directions .

 

Is tis what your toolbar in Wordpad looks like?
You can't change text style,size and color on the toolbar or through the Format tab ?

 

What directions? Text size, color, and font definitely can be controlled with WordPad. If you can't do it, we need more detail on your understanding of how to do these things in WordPad to determine whether your system has a problem or you just don't know how WordPad works.

 

I've never bothered with Wordpad, just use Word. What's the difference? Bazza

 

Wordpad is supplied free in all versions of Windows. It will format text,including color, insert pictures & do cut and paste. It has no spell check, no columns, no tables.

Word is part of Office...NOT free and has many more capabilities than Wordpad.
