wordret.msi

    Hi all,

    I have just finished cleaning up a very infected computer (thanks very largely to bjgarrick...) but now have another problem.

    The computer is a year old Compaq desktop with MS works and word 2002 preinstalled. After cleaning, everytime word is started (and for that matter now the computer) it starts windows installer and asks for the wordret.msi location. Since it was all preinstalled and is hidden away in a recovery partition there are no system disks..

    Any clues?
