Everybody thinks it's all fun and games in the office, but it was very professional.

You seem to have a great sense of humor Gensuknives. I only came across a couple doctors who were jokers, they were strictly urgent care so didn't have regular patients, maybe thats why. :-D

 

I'm sure it was very professional, indeed. Just call me in when the fun and games start is all I ask

 

It was always more enjoyable to have fun and it seemed to put most patients at ease more, if conditions and staff were more jovial.

Example: I would always ask a patient (even yearly check-ups, etc.) WHY they were here, to get the ball rolling. One said, "I'm here to get pregnant!"
Well, it went downhill from there. I told her she was in the wrong office - that I didn't offer that service, she blushed and we were fast friends then on.

 

It's things like that that make it fun to go to the doctor, although that position makes me tear up to this day.

 

Ha!, that reminds me of the time a guy came into my dads meat shop and asked him if he would breed his pig, my dad looked him in the eye and said, "No, but my son has a boar that will" That poor guy had to go sit in his car for 10 min before he could come back in to make the deal :-D

And yes, a Doctor with a sense of humor is the best kind
