    Hi,

I have a really nasty virus/worm/malware something. I've probably made things worse by going in and deleting files.

I think it may be SpyFalcon because it was throwing up error messages (this computer infected causing slow down, etc... just like the screen shot in your resolution to that). I went through the fix for that and didn't find any of those files, though I had removed some files before.

It doesn't through up errors anymore, but now I have the following issues...

    >I can't enable McAffee Virus Scan (when I try it locks the computer up for about 5 minutes)

    >When I go to web pages sometimes I'll get an advertising website instead of the one I requested. When I go back and click on the link again it goes through.

    >It's just running slow in general and mostly I'm concerned with passing it on to other people.

    >I've run mcaffee, spybot search and destroy, and adaware - all in safe mode and normal mode. I've tried using the msconfig to shut down some of the programs.

Also, mcaffee found a file that it couldn't delete. When I looked it up it was supposed to be a windows installer file (sorry I don't find my note to what the name was something like msiexec.exe) but it wasn't in a system folder so I deleted it. McAffee couldn't delete it because it was looking in a folder marked -acle when the true folder name was oracle and it was hidden.

That's all I can remember right now. I've been fighting with this for 3 days and I'm fried. Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Justin
