Hi, I followed the Read Me first and cleaned up my computer as much as I could with SUPERAntiSpyware and Malawarebytes.

The first time I ran Malaware (not using the tutorial) I got a trojan and something that apparently mucked about with my display, and then I followed the tutorial and scanned with SAS and Malawarebytes. I am running AVIRA right now and have collected two warnings so far, but I'm not that far into the scan.

I am worried that I might have collected a keylogger, but I am not sure. My computer has been running fine, except for overheating once in a while (I'm using a Toshiba Qosmio laptop) and it has been a bit slower on startup- but I am not sure if that is because I've got SAS on it right now, or if because there is something wrong. Anyways, here are is the log for before I ran AVIRA,
    thanks for your time!

    Addendum

I have updated AVIRA and I've done a second scan. Two of the previous warnings were for files that don't really matter (hibernation mode and pagesys files). There is now another warning, but I'll check that out when it's done scanning again.

Please help, I am getting really worried over my computer. It's my personal & study work computer, so I would like to make sure it is secure before I do anything more with it :cry

We still need the logs from:
    SAS
    MBAM
And if you have been removing things with Avira, a new C:\MGLogs.zip ...double click the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

Are you Running Avira as well as Norton 360? Big NO NO.

I'm running AVIRA right now, and I thought that Norton 360 was disabled but I it is still on my taskbar so I suppose it isn't :/

Also, I didn't actually find anything with the AVIRA scans, but would you still like me to get another MGLogs.zip?

Sorry, I'm kind of a really raw beginner at computer stuff.

Your logs are clean. Other issues aside from malware need to be addressed in the appropriate forum.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. They are useful as backup scanners. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    5. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    7. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    8. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
