Worthy succesor of Dota-Is it lol,hon or dota2 or anything else u know!

I am a RTS game genre fanatic but something else caught my eye a map called dota in warcraft 3 frozen throne it was just so addictive that no one can stop playing it .I recently shifted to lol(leaque of legends) because i got a virus from my gaming client,but still people say that hon is better than lol and some other things .I you have any memories of our famous dota and any suggestion in this new genre of games.Please go ahead and comment.And i know how it fells to own in dota just express ur self buddies.!!.Any ideas also will be Massively cool! and some funny moments you had.
