WOT versus Sandboxie?

I don't know if I am correct but WOT lets you know ahead of time it is a safe site to visit and Sandboxie puts the mess in the box after you have visited an unsafe site. Am I correct or do I need to take another logic pill?
Is either of these necessary if you are careful where you go and what you read and update AV/Spyware daily?

Moved your post to software as it does not sound like you are seeking direct help for malware removal.

born2golf, I use WOT. But don't trust it blindly. A spammy/scammy site may have a good rating with just a few votes - *read self rated* ;) it is just an indicator of peoples opinions.
Sandboxie is the stuff cyber cafes use, like you said to isolate net downloads etc.
For personal use, if one has an updated AV and anti-malware program in conjunction with safe surfing habits, then no more logic pill :)
    Cheers..

I think you have totally false expectations of Sandboxie.
It is NOT something that will retrospectively clear up your mistakes.
It is something you have to use "ahead of time" (just like WOT) so it can KEEP any mess in a box.
