wtb video converters

Does this website have a classifieds section?

I'd like to buy a couple converters for my videos.
I need one to download the footage I've recoreded with my camcorder onto my laptop so that I can edit and burn onto DVD's. Right now I have a dozen mini-DV (i think) tapes that are full that can only be watched by playing in the camcorder.

I also need video editing software I guess. I did recently download windows movie maker 2.6, but have yet to try it out.

I also need a converter to go from my laptop via vga to my tv via S-video or RCA plugs so that I can watch downloaded movies on my TV rather than laptop. I've seen these on ebay, but I wasn't sure about which one to order. The brands looked very generic, and they only had one composite video plug, so the audio must come from my laptop. That doesn't seem right.

Any recommendations or contacts to somebody selling their equipment woould be appreciated.
