wtf does this mean

hey all,great forum by the looks .was hoping someone here could give this ultra newbie a headsup on a translation /decipher on this document?i believe it was something of mine that ive saved previously but since my turd of a young cousin had 3 days grace to runamok on my pc whilst i was hospitalised recently ive either lost a heapof data or hes just basically wrecked me/it.may sound stupid,but does anyone recognise what "language" this is?or can point the way to help me turn it back.i hope that all makes sense.thanks in advance & if its a total lost cause/laughable request ....apologies for wasting your time.cheers

 

It looks like a unicode file, downloaded from the Internet, probably html. Though it's not regular html, xml or any sgml, or, as far as I can tell, mht. The original url seems to be blank. There also is a block that looks suspiciously like a disk error corrupted it, but you would have to run scandisk on the drive to see.

 

One more try: The file's header has JFIF in it, but I couldn't get it to work as a JFIF file (which would be a JPEG picture)
Do you remember if it was text, picture, mixed, or other like sound, etc.?

 

Clarification: When I said "mht", I meant mhtml. I also tried shtml.
