Wtf geek monthly??? :(

I am sure if you have subscribed to the magazine Geek Monthly or Play, you must know by now that they are going under...
I have been a subscriber of Geek since issue #2, back when we had to pay $39.95 for a year's subscription. Back when it was already having problems sending issues on time. Well, I have collected EVERY issue, and I was more than a little irked when I did not get October or November's issues, and emailed the publishers, only to be told "Sorry but the post office damaged some issues and we have no more issues in stock. Here is a digital issue for you to enjoy!" Um, I think NOT! I was not happy then, and now that it has been 4 months gone with no issues or refunds, and this time when I ask for January's 'Digital Issue' and got no reply, I can only expect that they are not operating anymore. But still no word of thier distress on the Geek Monthly website! They are apparently still taking orders, as some on the Facebook thread have said. And I heard that the 'Twilight' issue (November) was sold on newsstands but not sent to subscribers!
WARNING: Do NOT Subscribe To Play Or Geek Monthly Magazines! (Both by the same company.)
Any thoughts anyone? This WAS my favorite all-time magazine! :cry

 

Hi slow_mo_panda:wave that DOES sound rough, and I haven't heard or seen either of them. Seems like they could at least give you a decent answer tho.. I think if you look around here, tho, you will find just as much info right at your fingertips, in real-time, from real people tho..

I think you should give it a whirl. If they aren't going to give you a refund, time to move on, to other sites, like this one.. Best of Luck to ya

 

Keep all the copies you have collected, then if they have gone bust, one day they might be worth something, like in a hundred years time LOL !
