So I cooked some chicken went next door, ate, drank some nice wine, ate, and went home. When I got home, I noticed an odd box of beer by the door. Could it be the Beer Fairy?

The beers look old and dusty, probably not drinkable. Is my other neighbor trying to kill me, or does the Beer Fairy exist? Honestly folks, I love to write some BS, but I can't make stuff like this up!

The beers came in the best wooden beer carrier I have ever seen! This thing carries a 12 pack of long necks with style! I salute my beer fairy! My door was unlocked, I looked in the bedroom, and well, seems it is only the beer fairy. ;)

Strange, really strange, but neat at the same time.

scorcer, in all honesty, if there was a free 12 pack of imported beers outside your door, would you not at least check the bedroom to see if perhaps you had really won the lottery?

I love the wooden case the beers came in. I can make this into a killer cajun beer cooler! :-D

Well, these are actually all from the US. Microbreweries!

How neat suprise Fred, reminds me of an email I was once sent and now dug it out as maybe the beer fairy arrived via Bacchus's beer scooter!

The beer is drinkable! They came out with wooden carriers containing what appears to be vintage beer a couple years ago or so. The attached label on the carrier, which looked like it had been put on with a staple gun, says they are re-releases from old recipes. We bought one just like that for a friend of ours who likes to try different kinds of beer.:)

Abby: Unfortunantly, these beers is old! Probably 4 years old.:cry While a few beers age well, (I am told, they never last long at my house :p), these don't.

Several of them have floaters, and it is not yeast. But the mystery is solved, one of my friends dropped off the beer. I saw him at a redlight, so I did not get the full story on the beer yet.

Halo, I like the beerscooter story! Explains some things to me.

Bummer on the beer being so old.:(

You might want to have a look around at Christmas time. That's when we usually see those..might be able to pick up a nice fresh batch so you can sample til' your hearts content.:cool IIRC, we paid around $30.00 for the one we bought.
