wuauclt.exe

Hi, I have this in my task manager on both my home computer and my work computer.... Whenever its there, my curser starts blinking really fast, and the computer starts slowing down and freezing.

I did all of the virus/spyware scans as stated in the tutorials, and not one of them picked this up.

Does anyone know what it is, and how to remove it from the computer?

Wuauclt.exe is a process managing automatic updates for Windows. This process continuously checks for the latest updates by going online. This process should not be removed if you want to get informed about new updates.
