Xbox 360 pads on Vista!

I heard you can use your Xbox 360 control pad for games on your PC. Anyone done this? If so, HOW? I would love to! Is it bluetooth connection?

my friend uses a xbox360 controller for playing bioshock, i use a ps2 controller.

i seem to like the ps2 controller better than the xbox360 one...i guess im just more used to it

the only problem w/ using a ps2 controller with playing bioshock is that you have to manually configure all the controls (even though it isn't that hard), the xbox360 controller automatically configures itself

 

Supposedly MS was supposed to release a dongle that plugs into a USB port, so the wireless controller can connect. I never heard anything about it though.

 

I use the Xbox 360 USB controller on my laptop running Vista & it works great. I bought the controller with the driver but you can use any controller as long as you have the driver. I haven’t used my wireless controller so I don’t know if it works.

 

Youll need the microsoft wireless receiver to use the wireless controller on your PC.
