xfx680i lt Bios update problems

    Hi can anyone please help , I am trying to update my BIOS from p06 which is from 2008 to today , my xfx680i lt motherboard BIOS does not have MIT for some reason , tried XFX support they sent me updates but they keep going back to p06 not p08 or whatever they should my CPU is Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 @2.40Ghz any help which what I am doing wrong would help ,thanks
