XP Activation Problems

Hi Folks

My Dad G1lgam3sh put me onto you lot

I've got a problem with activating Win XP Pro. When I try to activate I just get a black screen. Only have 2 days left. Please any help..........help.......help!

Screen goes blank, computer still running, am connected to internet. Nothing happens then! BTW thanks scouse mate!

you will also have a phone number to contact MS to activate XP as well I would use that instead of the online one.

A few things may cause that...

1. You clicked NO by accident when it said activate NOW!

2. MS because of the blaster problem as server issues

3. The XP install is faulty and the activation process is corupt!

4. XP doesnt like you

5. XP may have failed to aquire a hardware ID

As I said if you activate via the free phone then you will bypass any problems and maybe able to ask why the screen turns black on the activation sequence.
