I'm having problems with this program. I think I removed it with one of my anti spyware programs after about a hour of figuring out how to get pass XP's controls but now I'm left with

    * Itunes wont open
    * I didnt save these pdfs, but I used to be able to pull them up since I open them routinely. After the spyware attack, these files seem to have been deleted.
    * To open any program I have to browse and then find and open the file.
    * I have tried going on this site on the computer I infected to download malware bytes anti malware. I always get a message along the lines of file can't be found. It seems I can't download anything onto that computer.

I am not good with computers, but I just want to know

    * Is there any kind of remote help I can receive to fix these problems?
    * Is it possible I can recover the pdf files (that I didn't save) that apparently were deleted?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to MajorGeeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

If any of the scans will not run or download move on to the next one and let me know what happened like if there were any errors or if they just wouldn't download or run.

    First off what are logs?

Second of all are these anti virus programs?
    1) Superantispyware free edition
    2) Spyware blaster
    3) Advanced system care
    4) IOrbit Security 360

I have already tried using advanced uninstaller from advanced system care to remove programs but the uninstaller wont open. I've tried going on "my computer" to add or remove programs, yet I repeadetly get a application not found message.

So so far I'm stuck on step 2, but looking at step 3, that step can't even be possible since I have to open add or remove programs, which I can't do.

I'm still wondering if I can get some sort of remote assistance since I'm not that great with this kind of stuff....

Logs are created by running the scans. You'll see when you get to a step that requires attaching a log.

They are not antivirus. They are antimalware. You might uninstall IObit Security 360 until we are done so it does not interfere with anything we do.

We don't use Advanced system care and it won't fix this anyway.

That's fine. The instructions say to keep going and run what you can skipping whatever steps don't work. But we still need you to try them all.

Remote assistance usually costs money. If you want to do that we can point you in the right direction. If not then read all of the instructions. Everything is spelled out in detail and thousands of novices have completed them.
