XP Boot Problem [Temporary Account]

I was having problems with my PC - it was stuck in a boot loop where it would begin to load but after it reached the XP start up screen, it would give me the options of starting in; safe mode, last settings that worked, or normal mode etc.

I hadn't installed any new hardware, so i figured that there must be a problem with the boot sector, so i used xp repair tools to write a new master boot sector.

This solved the start up loop problem and XP appeared to load up fine.
My two user accounts appeared - 'administrator' and 'guest' [i use the administrator account]

However after i typed my password in to enter the administrator account, when windows loaded everything had been removed from the desktop, and windows started up as if it was the first time it had been run - opening windows security settings, asking me to accept the license agreement for itunes etc.

This now happens every time i shut down and boot up - windows appearing to be run for the first time [e.g. any songs i added to itunes were removed after a reboot]. All my old files are still on the hard drive under:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administator\Administrators Documents

So theres no issue of recovering my lost documents- however how can i solve the problem of this fresh boot up every time i restart?

I believe that the problem could be that windows is logging me into a temporary account, i would really appriciate it if anyone could tell me how i can stop this, and return to logging in to my normal account with all my old settings and files so that i don't have to go through accepting all license agreements and re-adding all my songs to itunes every time i start up.
