XP boots to fast to read warning

Just built a new system. Nothing fancy. MSI mATX board, 512 ram, 80 gig HD. It went together well and boots just fine, but part way through the boot I can see WARNING! ....... There is a short message after that but it boots to fast to read. I have booted numerous time in attempt to hit the pause key at just the right time, but I keep missing it.

Is there a way to slow it down or boot by line item so I can see this message?

Is it AMI BIOS or Award BIOS, you'd better take several screenshots.
