xp fast nic toggle

    Hello, is there any software out there that provides an instant toggle for the default nic under xp? Getting xp to choose a desired nic for an application (especially if this nic is different for multiple running programs) is a big hassle, having to bring connections up and down to get it to work right.

    Yes there is a way to choose the default NIC.

    Go to Control Panel, make sure you are in classic view.

    Go to network connections. Click on the Advanced menu.

    Go to the Advanced Settings.

    You will see a box such as this. You can change the order from here.
