Hi all, have a strange problem here.

    Running xp professional sp3. E8500, 3ghz, 3.2gig ram

Had no real problems, until i tried to set a password on a folder.

Then, whenever i booted up, i had to input that password, prior to win xp starting up.

Now, i dont seem to be able to log on or log of to any other users.

I dont know if i am actually logged on as admin, or another user.

Is there any way i can get rid of this password, and get my system back?

How can i get my system back

Can you remember the steps you took in setting the password?

What do you see when you go to User Accounts (Control Panel)?

How many accounts did you have?

What software did you use to set a password on a folder?
